Just saw an outstanding movie, The Descendants, starring George Clooney (Up In the Air, O Brother Where Art Thou?), Shailene Woodley (TV roles on CSI, My Name is Earl), Amara Miller (first time on big screen), Nick Krause (How to Eat Fried Worms, The Garage), Patricia Hastie (Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Princess Kaiulani), Beau Bridges (Fabulous Baker Boys, Stargate SG1), Matthew Lillard (Scooby-Doo, She’s All That), Judy Greer (Love and Other Drugs, What Women Want), and Robert Forster (Mulholland Drive, Me Myself and Irene).   More

                                                                                                                             Just saw the best movie of the year: Mission Impossible, Ghost Protocol, starring Tom Cruise (Top Gun, MI 1, 2, 3), Jeremy Renner (Hurt Locker, The Town), Simon Pegg (MI 3, Star Trek), Paula Patton (Jumping the Broom, Hitch), Michael Nyqvist (All three of the Girl Who… movies from Sweden), and a whole bunch of folks who speak Russian.  We even had a cameo from Ving Rhames who made $7.7 million for a 3 minute walk-on at the end.   More
